Getting ready for our first run through

World’s biggest Wheel was the marking of the 65th anniversary for holiday on ice, so the company decided to chain 65 of us in a wheel and skate a full circle. sounds simple but took about full two days of rehearsals, and long hours on our feet for this event.  The rink was outdoors, two ice resurfaces joined together; it was heaven.. i love skating out doors, even if we had to rehearse during rain and high winds.

It was held in Mainz, Germany on live television. It was the biggest wheel ever made in history so we hold the  Guniness book of records! 

I am on tour with Holiday on ice as one of the solo principle. it is a brand new show created by kevin cottam and co choreagraphed by simone gregorescue, it’s called ENERGIA. the rehearsals have been long and brutal, but the show is coming along great. Skating from friday- wednesdays, we only have thursdays off. we start our day at 9 am with edge class and our day varies with rehearsals, solo practices, acting, costume fittings, and full run throughs of the show.
